Founder
The Founder of The Eminence is Ninja Kitten/Phayte. She oversees the harmonious integration of our ideals and their online representation as well as designed and hosts the guild website.
The Triumvirate (House of Three Shadows)
The Triumvirate consists of Sceleria, DarkEdge, and Optissimus. They are the Co-Leaders of The Eminence and also hold the final say in all guild related discussion. Because there are three of us, someone will always be around to monitor, arbitrate, and lead The Eminence to victory. A total of Four leaders also gives The Eminence an advantage when it comes to guild policy. We check and balance each other, thus all of our decisions are the result of a consensus between ourselves or a majority rule (we aim for a consensus).
Legion
The Legion composes all of the below ranks and is our ingame battle (or "War Time") hierarchy.
Peasant
This rank is for members that are still new and unknown to the guild. As a recruit the benefits of the guild will not be great and it is your responsibility to prove yourself truly worthy to the guild.
Grunt
At this rank you have established yourself as one of character in line with the ideals of The Eminence. You are now considered a full member and have proven your dedication to the guild. In order to gain this rank you must be in the guild 2 weeks and be voted in by The Triumvirate.
Veteran
A Veteran has proven his dedication to the guild though both longevity and as a representative embodying the guild ideals. By holding the title of Grunt for 3 months in good standing and by serving the guild in action, word, and ruthless slaughter on the battlefield, you become part of the largest cohort within the guild. Veterans are the core of our membership and are respected as such.
War-Chief
War-Chiefs are born leaders, and stand out as a select group of battle hardened killers. More important that their skill with a blade or magic is their ability to take charge of a regiment (15-20 men) and lead it to victory. The War-Chief is respected by his regiment and rises naturally to the role of leader. A War-Chiefs primary responsibility is that of organization on the battlefield. The War-Chief issues directives to his regiment that are essential to a successful outcome. The War-Chief also acts as an initial go-to man for conflicts within his regiment and will attempt to resolve these as efficiently as possible.
Warlords
This rank is the pinnacle of the Legion, and reports directly to the Triumvirate. The role of Warlord is equivalent to that of strategist. The Warlord will be in charge of 1-3 regiments and will be responsible, during mass PvP, for organizing a cohesive attack on a grand scale. Being well versed in the area of combat strategy the Warlord will communicate with War-Chiefs and hold the balance of battle in their hands.
Tribunal
The Tribunal is composed all of the below ranks and is our ingame (or "Peace Time") hierarchy.
Templars
Templars are Officers and Arbitrators. In the role of Officer this rank is responsible for organizing group of people together with specific ingame goals in mind, i.e., completing crafting quests, thieving missions, bar fights, PvE adventures, etc. Templars are also responsible for recruiting ingame and getting our name out there with positive PR. This particular facet of responsibility can also involve PR with the AoC official forums (greeting newcomers and telling them about our guild), Conancast interviews, posting on AoC related forums, and any other PR related tasks.
In the role of arbitrator, Templars have the penultimate say in resolving conflict within the guild. Their judgment can only be overruled by The Triumvirate. They are in charge of the day to day activities within the houses.
